Royal Hashemite Court hosts workshops for second phase of EMV
Amman, July 7 -- The Royal Hashemite Court is due to host a series of sectoral workshops starting on 13 July, aimed at assessing the progress of the Economic Modernisation Vision (EMV), which was launched three years ago under Royal directives.
The upcoming workshops are aligned with His Majesty King Abdullah II’s directives to follow up on the implementation of the EMV in order to ensure progress that leads to accelerated economic growth and a tangible impact on the lives of citizens.
Additionally, the workshops will serve to solidify the EMV as a blueprint for successive governments within the stipulated timeframe.
The workshops, which are held periodically for each phase of the EMV, provide an opportunity for a responsible and independent review of its implementation.
The workshops will ensure essential feedback is gathered, and will enable plans for optimisation of the vision’s initiatives and recommendations, to keep pace with technological and technical developments, in line with modern best practices.
The sectoral workshops, scheduled to run until 29 July, will be held with the participation of experts, academics, and representatives of the private sector and civil society organisations who were involved in drafting the EMV, as well as media professionals, in order to promote continuity in its approach.
